Ukiyo-e
A traditional woodblock printing and paintings from the 17th century, primarily characterised by astonishing use of colors and the artist's boldness to depict the figures in the most natural and real way. Some of the famous artists showcasing ukiyo-e through wall art prints were Moronobu Hishikawa, Hiroshige Utagawa, Kuniyoshi Utagawa etc. The wall paintings consist of subjects like sumo wrestlers, female beauties, scenes from folk tales and history and many others.
